“I have overcome the world”

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."  John 16:33

The world around us is falling apart, every day we meet people who have to endure many difficulties,  young people dying, old people badly treated, marriages breaking up, old and not so old on drugs or some other addiction – it can go on and on.   As we continue to “take heart” making every  effort to keep our focus on Jesus and what He can do for us, things change for us.   He is with us, He faces every difficulty with, and above all He is all we need.  He is our Rock and He is our refuge.  In the world we will have trouble, but let us focus on the Cross and the Blood and Water that gushed forth from His side as a fountain of mercy of us!  (Well done).  New World
