As the sun rises from the east, I remembered You,
My Lord who never fails, my God whom I knew
As the sun sets to the west, I recollected You
My Lord who loves me, my God Who is true!
He gave me children who are so dear to me,
He gave me a beau who is so close as a bee,
He gave me grandchildren, a delight to see,
He gave me friends, supportive and free!
As I ponder in my rose garden, He is my all,
For without Him, I will have nothing at all,
I will be bare as a rock, without love to haul
And empty as a bird's nest or grass less land!
Everything is yours, the sun and the moon,
The seasons of summer, winter and spring,
The ochre flowers of autumn or fall's zing,
The great oceans and desert, the auroras!
I love you not only because You created me,
I love You because You truly nurtured me,
I love you because You brought the best
You're my all, my everything nothing less!
