A phrase so commonly, so randomly,
So carelessly used by us…humankind.
Can we really catch later?
Moments….tender and delicate
Moments….poignant and beautiful…..
Can we catch later………………….
The shy blush of the blooming flower
In the embrace of the caressing gentle breeze.
Can we catch later…………………
The gleeful abandon of the twittering butterfly
Who is here today and gone tomorrow.
Can we catch later………………………
The twinkling in the eye of the lover meeting
His beloved’s in the orange magical dusk.
Lost in busyness, in the daily grind
Can we but stop, just for a moment
To savor, to relish, to delight in
Small, insignificant moments of real significance??
Can we be captivated by the moment of beauty
The moment so fleeting….turning eternal
Into an everlasting one, inerasable from our being
Surprising and uplifting our spirits!!!!!
Can we just pause awhile…………………..
Linger enough to capture and be captured
By the most delicate, highest and holiest moments
Moments of beauty and magic spread out
By the Maker of beauty…JUST FOR US!!!
