“Our Daily Bread” Reflection by Cynthia Abegail

No matter what religion or belief a person has, it will always be a fact that God provides!  We only receive what we have:  food, clothing, shelter because of Him.

Even the atheists has to settle for this truth in the long run.  Well, everyone has their opinion, but the reality must be faced.

The daily bread is not only the physical bread but the presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.  It is the bread that will sustain us!  Jesus is our hope and the One that gives meaning to our life.  

God did not promise a life of a bed of Roses but a life that maybe full of trials but He will sustain us.  Jesus is the Living Bread that came from Heaven.  Jesus said,  “If you want to follow me, carry your Cross.”  He is the Only Way, the Truth and the Life!
