I could not believe it in my eyes; our princess Aiko is now more than nine years old. That means on an average, she may have 10 to 15 years more of life, I guess! I am not sure of course, as lives of humans and animals as well lies on God alone.
For sure, Aiko is getting more cranky. I remembered older people I meet. Some of them could be unbelievable! So moody and maybe unreasonable. At the same time, she is moving at a slower pace and likes to rest most of the time. She hates walking now and pants heavily after a long walk.
It’s time to visit the Vet for sure. She is due for her vaccination and check-up. I remembered that she hates vaccinations. Last year, she was terribly grumpy and needs two Animal Aides to subdue her for she hates needles. Unlike me, needles never bother me at all.
I intend to spend more time with her but at the moment, it’s not possible. What, with two grown-up children whom I still visit, four grandchildren, a husband, a part-time career, writing blogs and ministry for the Lord! Well, I think I need a holiday, where should I go?
I love to go to US at some point, to visit the Shrine of Lourdes, France, to see the Holy See at Rome and to visit Jerusalem. Oh, I have dreams too. Are there any free tickets out there? I promise to write for you, joke only. Aiko has to bear with a busy carer but she understands. That’s why, when we bond, she is all smiles! I fondle her voluptuous hair, what a lovely moment. Now folks, I will update you next time.
