“Go home, you son will live, thus says the Lord: Reflection by Cynthia Abegail
“And there was a court official whose son was ill at Capernaum; hearing that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judaea, he went and asked him to come and cure his son, as he was at the point of death. Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and portents, you will not believe!” ‘Sir, answered the official, come down before my child dies.’ “Go home, said Jesus, your son will live.’ (Jn 4: 46b-50)

The Lord has to say it only once, and it will be done! Unlike us, we have to repeat words all over and over again.
Unconditional faith, nothing more! When the Lord said, “Your son will live.” That’s it! No more questions. The Lord holds the universe in His hands. Is there anything too difficult for the Lord? The Lord who changed water 💦 into wine? The Lord who healed the paralytic and gave sight to the blind? What else do we need?
Our attitude should be: Lord, if it is your will, Thine will be done. I trust in you and I love you...
Dear Lord, we believe in all miracles that you do. Please give us hearts that simply trust and have total confidence in Thee. That we may fully surrender everything to you, our family, our work, our very own life and dreams or yearnings. We attest our love for you and may we always see the light of day. Through the intercession of Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all the angels and saints, In Jesus Name. Amen.
