Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, enabling you both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippoians 2:12-13
For it is God who is at work in you! The struggle we face has been allowed in our life to help us grow in faith. St Paul is asking us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling…which means we need to constantly cooperate with God, deal with our issues in His light, and let us be grateful for all that is happening to us. Let us praise God that we did not get the promotion we wanted, praise Him for the misunderstanding we had at home today, praise Him that we are rejected, Let us make today a day of praise and begin to cooperate with God’s will for us.
