“Be Still and know I am God” Reflection by Jane Pimenta of Prayer Aid

Be still and know that I am God  Ps 46:10

Be still the Lord is telling us.  Don’t get worried, confused, over people/ situation we face.    Be still implies all we have to do, is talk to Jesus about what lies on our hearts and minds and then leave it in His hands.   He has the best vision of what bothers us, He is in our situation even before we faced it.   Presently I am dealing with a very stressful situations – being still is not an option for me, yet I know that I can do nothing about it, things WILL go the way the Lord has planned.  I can see that I have to stop worrying, but it’s difficult.  Let us together strive to calm down, let us together, let go and let Jesus have His way in our lives – it’s the only way.  (As we are weak, at times, we worry!  On the other hand, we must surrender to God all the things in our lives.  Thanks Jane!  Excellent).  Cynthia Abegail
