Clothe yourselves with compassion,... Collosians

“You are the people of God, he loved you and chose you for his own.  So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else.  You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.  And to all these qualities, add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity. (Collosians 3: 12-14).

If one considers him or her to be a child of God, then he or she are supposed to act as one!  Deeds are important.  Be kind to all, but we do not mean that we be slaves to people who abuse us.  What we meant is deal with others with love and compassion.  Support one another with joy and sincerity without hidden personal agenda for gain or profit.  

Forgive one another.  This is one of the most difficult things to face when sometimes we have enemies for life.  Pray for forgiveness that God will grant us the grace to forgive others.

And love is the binding invisible quality that unites all!  That’s why there is no love in war and in fighting.  For God loves unity.  In some cases, war is inevitable.  On the other hand, choose love instead of hatred.
