GOD'S GIFT OF LIFE BY MARIA CASSIA

THE PINK LILIES
Straying by the Odd pond of Bellevue,
Gazed at the pink lilies within my view
Blooming at the right season from East
Prolific in spring, dominates the scene...
Lilies like reverie in the dawn of the day,
Comes in great colors yellowish O' fair
But the pinkish captivate ones to share
As leaves engulfs the petals as it lays---
Pink is demure not glaring as the reds,
A maiden's dream, and woman's needs
A modest aspiration, caressing thought
A scent that soothes, lo' consoling deeds.
I'ts the color of a love growing from afar,
Only a dream at night, in a slumber hour
It's the pink lilies by the pond like lovers
Meeting by the silouhette of luminiscence!
