“Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds I Christ Jesus”
“Have no anxiety about anything…”, If only St Paul could see us today, and how easily we get stressed, would he still say the same thing? Yes, I think he would! Life may get out of hand, our fears may be difficult to control, yet we have to believe that at no time, not even for a second are we left alone by the Lord. His nature will not permit Him to leave us. Jesus is very close to us and He knows every single thing we are faced with, and every single thing that disturbs us and above all He understand every weakness of ours. Let us bring our weakness, our fears, and anxieties to Him. Let us not live with fear and anxiety it is not the plan of God for us… no matter how difficult it is, let us strive to focus on what He can do for us and not on our strength and ability. (We have to identify and make it clear to God the wishes of our hearts. As St Paul attest, we make our requests with thanksgiving. Life is not all about only asking but thanking our Great Provider).
