Mk 3:35 “Anyone who does the will of God”

“Anyone who does the will of God, that person is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mk 3:35).

Those who accept Jesus as Lord and Master are closest to Him if they do the will of God.  Hence, it is the common faith that binds believers more than by blood.

It does not mean that we will neglect our family and relatives.  It meant only that we are enjoined to have a genuine kinship wit him by obeying the will of God in all circumstances.
