George Kurian, a great writer, novelist and past Chief Editor of New World is fondly remembered every year on his anniversary (eternal life). During his lifetime, he had inspired many writers and poetess. As such, he had dealt with his writers and Associate Editors with compassion, understanding and honour.
One thing I remembered with George was his love for humour! Although he could be serious at times, he knew that laughter is the best medicine.
He also loved poems. How he had inspired us to write poems and short stories that during his time, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I penned about more than 150 poems in a span of a year.
George, we will always remember you as a Great Editor! Now, as your granddaughter Arianna took your place as Editor, we pray that she will follow your footsteps in wisdom and kindness!
