Ps 35:22 “Do not keep silent O’Lord” Reflection by Jane Pimenta of Prayer Aid

You have seen it, O LORD, do not keep silent; O Lord, do not be far from me.    Ps 35:22
When our prayers are not answered for weeks or even months, we tend to get disappointed – maybe even depressed?   However, the Lord has heard our prayer, He knows our circumstances, He will not stand by and watch us destroyed by the evil one.   Let us have faith that He is working something out for us, He is keep guard over us, and nothing we fear is going to happen.   Let us find hope in what the Psalmist is saying “you have seen it”  If He has seen it, He knows, if He knows He has compassion on us.  Deuteronomy 31:8  “He will never leave you.  (Let us cultivate the habit of waiting; waiting on the Lord.  It’s not easy but as long as we trust in his divine time of answering our prayers, we are blessed.  For God is a sovereign God.  He knows everything good for us and for our loved ones).  Cynthia Abegail for New World.
