“For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans 8:6
St Paul is presenting us with a choice: that if we set our minds on God, His Holy Spirit, will bring us an amazing life, through the difficulties that we will face. If our minds are set on God, we become teachable, and eager to change what is not pleasing to God. When our minds are on the Lord, we are fully attentive to Him, He knows us completely, and can fulfil His wonderful plan for us. Let us pray each day to be more and more attentive to the Lord, by submitting our minds to Him. (Very good reflection! The Spirit is the opposite of the flesh). Cynthia Abegail
