THE LOST SHEEP: LK 15 REFLECTION BY CYNTHIA ABEGAIL

And the Pharisees and scribes murmured saying, "This man receives sinners and eats
with them."  So he told them this parable, "What man of you having a hundred sheep,
if he has lost one of them leaves the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one
which is lost until he finds it?"   Lk 15

*  Do we have the courage to condemn our brothers and sisters who stray?  Even Lord
Jesus seeks for the lost soul!  This is one of the greatest parable written in the gospel.
Sometimes, we could act as a Pharisee or a scribe judging as an outsider.  When we see
our brethren sin, then instead of condemning him or her, why not lead him to the right
track gently.  Then we can rightly say we are true followers of Jesus.

No one has the right to judge; only God will judge the disposition of one's soul!  Go and
find your lost brothers.  Just like Jesus, go after the one who is lost.  Embrace him just like
Blessed Mother Mary who perpetually aids those who are in danger of perdition.  No one
is dispensable, all could have the potential of salvation!

Look at the adulterous woman in danger of death from stoning!  Jesus raised her up and said,"
"Go and sin no more."  Yes, Jesus restored her dignity and at the same time encourage her not to sin again.  Let us start to look for the lost souls and offer it to Jesus!  We will never know:  We may
be the one who are lost and have a need for salvation!
