“The one who disowns me in the presence of human beings, I will disown in the presence of my Father in heaven,” Thus says the Lord: Reflection by Maria Cassia

“So if anyone declares himself for me in the presence of human beings, I will declare myself for him in the presence of my Father in heaven.  But the one who disowns me in the presence of human beings, I will disown in the presence of my Father in heaven.” (Matt 10:32-33)

This a great truth from our Lord himself.   This is the reason why it is important that we declare Jesus from the housetops to the ground—-basically everywhere.   What we speak and write about is significant in the sense that we could be owned or disowned by God the Father in heaven.

Some may say:  “It does not matter.”  Of course it matters my dear brothers and sisters.”  Heaven matters!  Do you like to be disowned by your Creator?  It could be a very sad situation.  There is one thing that God loved!  A person who trust Him, love Him and proclaim Him.  Is it not that easy and the rewards are great in heaven?

Let us pray for all of the people who rejected God in the past maybe forgiven by the Lord and may they genuinely come back to Him.  That the Lord may remove the cataracts from their spiritual sight.  May the Lord touch their hearts and allow them to feel His love.  May the mercy of God encompass the whole world and may the pandemic end earlier, we beg O’Lord. Lord, have mercy.  Christ have mercy.  Lord, have mercy.
