2 Samuel 21:17 "He pulled me out of deep waters" by Cynthia Abegail

"He brought me out to a wide-open place; he rescued me because he delighted in me."  2 Sam 21:20

Things happen beyond our control.  Sometimes, out of the blue, a great friend become an enemy, disasters come and go, tragedies arise, a somewhat abundant life suddenly becomes dire and dry!  Let us accept the reality that everything is beyond us.  When we become proud and uplift ourself at the top of the world, then sometimes we crash to the ground.  God uplifts, God humbles those who are proud!

On the other hand, crises may arise but the Almighty rescues us even when we are unaware!  For God delights in His people.  You maybe surprised at times how you are able to get out of a mess.

That what makes life colourful!  We face challenges, but we do not necessarily face those alone.  We can run to God Almighty, the owner of everything, from the minute atom to the huge universe.

When everything seems hopeless, do not lose hope.  We can turn to Abba Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, to the Holy Spirit all in One, and plead for help.  Proud people could not do that because they thought they could save themselves anyway!  No, the mess in the world could not be cleared by anyone except God alone.

But we need to pray for world peace!  We need to praise God through all the ends of the earth!  When
all do that, then we can visualise the change.  Then one said, how can it be?  How?  There is no How for God the Almighty!  We need to pray unceasingly.,. For nothing is impossible for God...for those who believe will all of their hearts, minds and soul.

Let us pray for all leaders in the world, spiritual and secular, that our Awesome God will guide them in all of their plans and actions.  Let us pray for all of us that our hearts maybe touched by the Holy Spirit so that we may know what is important and for us to forsake the material lure of the world and that we may abandon the wanton desires of our hearts.  That we may be true disciples of Christ---the Saviour of the world.  Lord, hear our prayer

Praise the Lord forever and ever!
