Ps 24: 4 "Teach me your ways, O Lord" Reflection by Maria Cassia

"Make known to me your ways, Lord.  Teach me your paths." (Ps 24:4)

How can we know the ways of the Lord?  Through the Church, by attending Holy Mass, by reading the Holy Scriptures and by reading about the work of the Fathers of the Church and of all the saints.  Sometimes, revelation could be given to God's chosen ones, but the Church has to validate it to be sure it comes from God alone.  One can also attend regular Mass to get insights about the ways of the Lord.

A daily reading of the Holy Bible truly helps.  One could also attend a bible study group to get good reflections or one can read reflections from books or online.

The ways of the Lord are different from ours.  If we truly love God, we will pray for the grace to know his ways and what pleases Him.

Dear Lord, we pray for the grace of perseverance to seek your Face in the Church, in your Word and in your promptings.  Please give us a sensitive heart and an acute mind to sense your call.  Mother Mary and St. Joseph and St Michael the Archangel, pray for us!  All of the Angels and saints, pray for us.  All in Jesus Name, Amen
