Strengthen me O’ Lord: Ps 119:28 forwarded by Prayer Aid

My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word       Ps 119:28

If stress and fear are the emotions filling us today, let us close our eyes and sit quietly for a while.  Let us try and put aside the negative feelings and come into the Loving Presence of Jesus.  Let us feel His love surround us like a wall keeping all that is negative away from us….He is blessing us right now…through His Presence our negative feelings are being lifted and peace fills our hearts…Hold His hand, feel the security of His grasp, He will never let go of us, lets hold His hand in childlike trust knowing that He knows everything and will work it out one step at a time.  ( It is quite normal to be sorrowful sometimes, but let the Lord dispel all of our negative feelings.  Love casteth out fear and sorrow.  Thanks Jane for this coherent and superb reflection).  Cynthia Abegail —-New World
