Unless the Lord blesses every plan and ambition of ours, it would very well come to nothing, or it will not bring us happiness and joy. The Lord wants every area of our life to be surrendered to Him. He does not seek to control us, rather He wants us to be saved from frustration and failure in the future. Only the Lord knows what lies in the future for us, and so He calls us to come to Him before we start to make plans for ourselves.
Yes, we must have our goals, and a vision for ourselves for sure, but we must always submit them all to Him, for without His blessings, guidance, wisdom, and discernment, we will be building in vain, only when we are within the Plan of God, completion of that project will be a joy.
If we have not already surrendered our plans to the Lord, let us stop and do so now. Let us ask Him for His forgiveness for trying to run our lives without Him, He is a merciful and compassionate God and will receive us with Love.
