Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Ps 43:5
The Psalmist is encouraging himself out of his moods! The Lord has planned today for us, every person we meet, every situation we face, He has allows it into our life. He has given us strength and the ability to trust Him… His power is flowing freely to us, let us not waste the day fretting and whining. Instead let us begin to praise Him, thank Him that today is His, and He is in control, and so we are safe. (Thanks Jane for the great assurance that we are safe in God’s hands).
