Attributes of God: Eternity: Reflection by Cynthia Abegail

God is beyond time!  He is eternal with no beginning and end.  As in Revelation, God said,  “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.”

There is only One God in three Persons.  The eternal nature of God is the quality that also refers to infinity.  In contrast, man is finite; one could be born but could not live forever.  At some point, man will die.

God Almighty has great power beyond our understanding.  This is why we stand in awe of Him.  His greatness is beyond measure and we need to praise God at all times.  This is not only a duty but we need to praise Him for His goodness and love for us. What is a great thing we could do for our God?  To thank Him for everything!  For if He has not created all, we would be nothing. Our existence is only from Him.  So apart from God, we are nothing!  It could be like dead men walking.

Let us pray today that those who are reading this right now will realise that God should be first in all things.  Not second, but first in their lives.  May we enthrone God in our hearts sincerely without false display of spirituality.  Let us love God with all of our hearts, minds and souls.  Through the powerful intercession of Mother Mary, St Joseph, St Michael the Archangel, all of the Angels and Saints.  Amen.
