Miracles Do Happen: Reflection by Cynthia Abegail
Sometimes, others scoff at miracles. They will say, "Oh, that's not rational and unbelievable." Miracles is beyond reasoning of man. It is of God's and nothing is impossible for Him.
Most miracles are effected through the saints by God's grace. A very good example is St Anthony of Padua. A novena of St Anthony proves to be efficacious! Many lost things are found, diseases are cured and problems are solved. This novena is not for the one faint-hearted in faith! Another example is St Therese of Lisieux, the great saint of the modern times. God answers prayers through her, and indeed she sends flowers from the heavenly garden if one believes unconditionally.
Of course, Mother Mary tops all as the Mediatrix of all graces. If one seeks to be a saint, why not? Devote yourself to Mother Mary but God should be the first in your heart!
St Joseph, the humble saint should not be forgotten. Saying the prayer of St Joseph will lead you to great heights. Look at St Theresa of Avila, a strong devotee of St Joseph, but of course an intercession for blessing from God alone!
Why not ask for the intercession of the saints? Nothing to lose...It is also good to seek the intercession of St Jude Thaddeus, the saint for hopeless cases as sometimes, we could be dead hopeless, joke only! I mean, there are problems which really prove difficult.
There is a saint for all our needs. Students, take this! St Joseph of Cupertino, we could ask before exams! At the end of the day, all of these miracles are from God. Saints lead you to God! No worries...
