SOUND OF MANY WATERS
John had a mystical experience, a rare vision,
With golden sash and with hair white as wool
Eyes like flame of fire and face shining as sun
In an island at Patmos; a revelation to man--
Messages: seven churches Ephesus and Sardis,
Tyatira, Pergamum, Philadelphia and Ephesus
Not to forget Symrna; the Lord who held stars
With feet as bronze who is "first and the last,"
Sound of many waters John heard of His voice
The voice from the Almighty, from Him alone!
Then he looked again, a door opened in heaven,
One seated on the throne looks like carnelian
O' jasper but around is a rainbow like emerald
Flashes--light, peals of thunder not really mild
Sound of many waters, a glorious voice of God
Sound of many waters, exalted in array of light!
