A New Creation: 1 Cor 5:17: Reflection by Cynthia Abegail

“So whoever is in Christ is a new creation:  the old things have passed away, behold, new things have come.”  2 Cor 5:17

A person who is fully converted in Christ has an innermost transformation.  His ways will change to conform to the attitude of a true disciple of Jesus.  He or she will be more loving, kind, compassionate, understanding and will have great reverence for God.  The old ways of the flesh have passed away and everything is now new:  one’s heart, one’s mind and one’s soul.  A marvel in our eyes, a miracle of God!
