At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. In all this Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.” Job 1:20-22
Job’s sufferings came to him back to back. Yet he did not question God he did not challenge Him that he, Job was a faithful servant and how could God do this to him? Yesterday (7.9) I said to Mother Mary, “you saved me from a major accident with no bones broken, but I am wondering why you did not save me – from the accident?” True I did not have broken bones, but there is pain, and swelling, there are blue patches! Then again, I thought I cannot confront our Mother with that challenge. So I asked for pardon and within a few hours I am able to sit and write, I cannot sit long but I can sit long enough to write these short reflections for this week. (Indeed, miracles happen! Sometimes, we are mesmerised by the work of God through Mother Mary. Lord Jesus love His Mother, so in all occasions, the Lord grant favours according to His will. Let us pray for daily protection. God has a plan why things happen. We glorify and thank God always for his deliverance and healing. Rest well Jane). Cynthia Abegail for New World.
