"My ways are higher than your ways" (Isa 55:9): Reflection by Prayer Aid

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.  Is 55:9

The Lord thinks and acts very differently to the way we do!  His mind is never influenced by negative thinking, and so His ways will never be the result of negative thoughts.   Our minds will keep reminding us of our limitations, of what we are not able to do, of how things are so serious there is no way out, and of our past failures….. The Lord has no such limitation, there is nothing He is not able to do, and even where there is no way out, He can and will make a way out!  Honestly, if we walk close to Him, that’s all it takes to have peace.  The difficulties will come, the challenges will surface, the irritating people will still be around, but if we walk with Him, we will always be at peace because He will be guiding us how to deal with each  person and  situation.
