We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but nor forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 2 Cor 4:8-9

Our problems do not crush us, nor do they drive us to despair, and destroy us.  Have you ever given a thought to tall trees that are trimmed a couple of feet and yet after sometime, they grow back to their natural size?  They have a strong life within them to keep growing again no matter how much they have been trimmed!  (or pruned) Similarly, we too have an inner strength, a divine strength to see us through any “pruning” or challenge.   We have an inner strength to get up each time we fall, that inner strength is the Holy Spirit.  Many things are looking dim today, and sometimes our homes seem like “containment zones” without the virus.!!   Yet the Holy Spirit moves us to live with hope, to live safely, and He provides all we need.  (Very true!  The Holy Spirit moves in a person who fully surrenders one’s will to the will of God.  It may not be easy but can be done.  Excellent, Jane).  Cynthia Abegail for New World.
