REPENTANCE IS THE KEY: REFLECTION FORWARDED BY PRAYER AID

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it. Isa. 30:13

The more we come to God as sinners, the deeper will we feel His love surround us. Let us pray today, for the grace to be sensitive to the smallest sin in our life. Any sin, however small, will offend the sacred heart of Jesus. The prodigal son, the tax collector, Zacchaeus and others understood the value of repentance deeply and so also experienced being deeply loved. The more we confess our sin and experience the forgiving love of God, the greater will we experience the love of God. Let us spend time today, asking the Sacred heart of Jesus to forgive us.
(Thanks to Jane Pimenta for stressing the importance of repentance in our lives.
God's mercy is deeper than the ocean!  Excellent).  New World
