“And the crowds asked him, ‘What then should we do? He said to them in reply, “Whoever has two cloaks should share with the person who has none. And whoever has food should do likewise.” (Lk 3:10-11)
God loves a generous and cheerful giver. Those who have clothes and food should share with the marginalised people. It states that a person who has two cloaks must share his other cloak. If a person has extra food, share it with the poor.
A very timely reflection during these times especially that we hear about poor nations needing help with food and the like. Missionaries all over the world reach out to these suffering people and how they do selfless work!
