“Of David who feigned madness before Abimelech, who forced him to depart. I will bless the Lord at all times; praise shall be always in my mouth. My soul will glory in the Lord that the poor may hear and be glad. Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.”
(Psalm 34:1-4)
We will wonder that why do we praise the Lord at all times? In times of joy and sorrow? Yes! As children of God, we are enjoined to praise the Lord. As we praise God, He becomes truly present since God dwells in the praises of His people.
God will never abandon us. Sometimes, it is us who forget God’s greatness and majesty. We maybe embroiled in the cares of the world and in the pursuit of pleasure. We maybe so busy pursuing wealth that we no longer have time for God. Money could become a god and the centre of hearts.
Let us come to our senses and give praises to our Creator! Come back to God; His love is everlasting and He will be with us till the end of the ages.
